Moorestown started out quickly with a goal by Ben Cantwell at the 6 second mark. It only required 20 seconds for the Quakers to strike again as Will Corbi found Quinn Willis for a 2-0 lead 26 seconds into the first quarter.

The two teams were tied at 3-3 at the end of 1st quarter and 5-5 at halftime. Moorestown scored twice in the 3rd quarter and Summit managed one goal in the 4th quarter.

Moorestown went on to win 7-6 with their first state title since 2011. The win avenged a 3-2 regular season loss to Summit earlier in the year.

Ben Cantwell 3 goals, Will Corbi 1 goal & 3 assists, Frankie Labetti 1 goal & 1 assist and Quinn Willis 2 goals led Moorestown to the 7-6 win.

Moorestown should be awarded a high seed in the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions which is scheduled to start on Saturday @ Bridgewater Raritan High School.
